Charlotte Perriand visits Saint-Etienne

       

Nous sommes allés voir l'exposition sur Charlotte Perriand au MAM de Saint-Etienne ce week-end. Cette femme remarquable n'a jamais cessé de m'inspirer et elle est bien la preuve qu'un bon design est intemporel... A voir!

We went to the exhibition about Charlotte Perriand's work and life at the Museum of Modern Art in Saint-Etienne this week-end. This amazing lady never ceases to inspire me. And she is the ultimate proof that a good design is timeless. A must see!

                

               

Mr.Cooper's new skin by Coco Flip

Le studio australien Coco Flip a créé une nouvelle version du luminaire intitulé "Mr. Cooper", en laiton cette fois-ci. La version originale en cuivre était superbe et celle-là reste dans la même lignée.

Melbourne based Coco Flip studio created a new version of the Mr. Cooper suspension, this time using brass. Given how gorgeous the original version was, this new one is a great successor.

Falling Dansu from Ireland

Encore du bois. Et pas de nos amis nordiques cette fois-ci! Les architectes irlandais O'Donnell + Tuomey avec le designer Joseph Walsh ont réinterprété le bureau en imaginant ce petit cabinet de curiosité absolument magnifique. 

Timber again. Not from our nordic friends this time! Irish architects O'Donnell + Tuomey with designer Joseph Walsh reinterpreted the bureau desk designing this absolutly gorgeous cabinet of curiosity!

Timber and White love

J'ai envie de blanc et de bois partout. Peut-être l'arrivée de l'été et l'envie de lumière, mais dans tous les cas la nouvelle collection de Design Fürs Heim tombe à pic! Coup de coeur pour ces objets de maison "made in Germany".

I just want timber and white everywhere in my home. Maybe it's the summer coming and a extreme need of light, but the Design Fürs Heim new collection is just designed for me. Extreme love for this "made in Germany"  range of homewares!

One of the most inspiring swedish design studio Note just signed Fuse, a gorgeous pendant lamp collection inspired by "traditionnal Italian craftsmanship and mixed with Nordic simplicity".
